Rob Stewart launched On The Up PR to build on 20-plus years as a newspaper reporter with leading regional and national titles and a decade as a PR specialist with a prominent national charity and communications agencies.
As a regional correspondent with the Daily Telegraph and freelance reporter with The Sunday Times and Reuters news agency, Rob consistently delivered excellent results for more than a decade.
After re-locating from the North East to Bristol with his family in 2015, Rob used this journalistic background to move into PR, playing a key role in spearheading Alzheimer’s Society fundraising and awareness media campaigns.
Following a move into commercial PR consultancy with West Country-based agencies, Rob built on charity sector success with a range of clientele, using skills and media insight to secure national, regional and specialist trade coverage that accelerated growth.
This paved the way for the creation of journalism-inspired creative communications agency On The Up PR which prides itself on a proven ability to enhance reputations and supporting client growth trajectories.

Away from the world of PR, Rob will be spotted in and around Bristol swimming and winter dipping at Henleaze Lake, running around the courts at Clifton Lawn Tennis Club, walking family sausage dog (Schnitzel), jogging on the Downs and every so often, when called into action, reporting for national newspapers on the fortunes of Bristol City and Bristol Rovers.
